# Start Campaign

> Start a scheduled campaign

## Start Campaign

Transition a campaign from `scheduled` or `paused` to `active`.

## Path Parameters

**campaign\_id** `string` *required*

UUID of the campaign to start

## Valid State Transitions

| From Status | Can Start? |
| - | - |
| `scheduled` | ✅ Yes |
| `paused` | ✅ Yes |
| `active` | ❌ Already active |
| `completed` | ❌ Cannot restart |
| `cancelled` | ❌ Cannot restart |
